The protection of personal data is an important issue for SKO - Säureschutz- und Kunststoffbau GmbH. We want you to know which data we save and when and for what we will use it. We are a company operating under private law and are subject to the Federal Data Protection Law (Bundesdatenschutzgesetzes (BDSG)). We have taken technical and organisational steps to ensure that these laws are adhered to by us and external service providers.
Personal DataPersonal data is information that can be used to find out one’s identity. This includes correct name, address and telephone number. Information, which does not connect a person to their real identity (such as favourite websites or number of users per site), does not come under this category.
It is not necessary to identify oneself in order to use our website. However, if you register for one of our personalised services or order a product or subscription we will ask for your name and other personal information. It is up to you whether you give us this data.
Web HostingYour details will be stored on highly protected servers in Germany. Access to this information is given to only a few people involved in the technical, commercial or editorial maintenance of the server.
In connection with your access to the server, data for security purposes will be stored, which may result in identification (for example PI address, date, time and pages visited). There is no personal evaluation. Subject to statistical evaluation of anonymous data records.
Forwarding Personal Data to Third PersonsWhen ordering products your personal information remains within SKO - Säureschutz- und Kunststoffbau GmbH. We do not give this information to third persons without your permission. Should data be given to service providers while processing orders these partners underlie the data protection laws (BDSG), other legal regulations and have signed a privacy policy with SKO - Säureschutz- und Kunststoffbau GmbH. If we are required to do so by law or a court of law we shall submit your data to those entitled to receive it.
Postings on our public discussion forums are accessible by all. You need to carefully check your posting for any private information before making it public. You need to be aware that your postings will be collected in search engines and can be called up around the world without entering precise searches. Deletion or correction of such postings is often not possible with foreign providers.
Right to rescindIf you no longer wish SKO – Säureschutz- und Kunststoffbau GmbH to use your personal information for contacting you and/or wish to have your data deleted, we shall take steps to fulfil this.
Data required to process orders or for commercial purposes are exempt from deletion or rescindment.
Please understand that following rescindment of personal data we can no longer provide a personal service as this is based on customer data.
Use of CookiesDuring an online sitting text information is gathered and saved on the user’s hard disc in a special ASCII file (cookie.txt). The browser decides where the Cookie is saved on the user’s computer. Cookies are information that is sent back to the server during the next visit. They can only be read by the server that stored them originally.
SKO - Säureschutz- und Kunststoffbau GmbH does not use Cookies. Should SKO - Säureschutz- und Kunststoffbau GmbH require Cookies for necessary user functions in future, we will inform you of this on the corresponding page. On certain pages advertisements from companies or agencies are supplied directly. Cookies may be used here without your being informed first.
It is possible to use our website without Cookies. Most browsers are set up to automatically accept Cookies. You can, however, deactivate saving Cookies or set up your browser to inform you as soon as Cookies are used.
ChildrenChildren under 18 years of age should not submit personal data to us without the approval from their parents or guardians. We do not ask children to supply personal data, do not collect this data or pass it on to third parties.
Links to Other WebsitesOur website contains links to other websites. We have no influence on whether the owners keep to the data protection regulations.
